Great Nepal ! Beautiful Nepal ! Good afternoon everyone! I am Sushant Raj Poudyal of grade 11 at Nobel Academy,Kathmandu. It's my great pleasure to give a presentation in this conference. Nepal, a world of its own, with an area of 147,181 sq.km. is situated in the South-Asian region between China in the northern side and India in the eastern, western and southern side. The country is divided into 3 geographical regions ,the upper Himalayan region, which consists of different mountains including the world's highest mountain, the roof of the world,Mt.Everest, the central hilly region, which is made up of the different hills, and finally, the lower Terai region, which is a fertile land. On further dividing the country, it consists of 5 development regions, Eastern, Central,Western,Mid-Western and Far-Western development region. The capital of the country, Kathmandu, lies in the Central development region. The kingdom is ruled under the constitutional monarchy. The entire rules and regulations of the country is followed by each and every citizen of the country according to the written constitution. Much more than a country, the eternity of the country seems to be the blessing of the nature. The different types of flora and fauna found here including the lakes, waterfalls and other rivers has provided beauty to the nature and this has given contribution in flourishing the country's name and fame all over the world. The division of the country into 14 zones and 75 districts has helped the country to take further steps in the development the country. The one and only Hindu Kingdom,Nepal, has its culture and tradition preserved for long-term excellence of the country. Different types of cultural festivals are celebrated here such as Dashain,Buddha Jayanti,Id, Christmas etc.in places like temples, gumbas, mosques and churches providing glitterings to the tradition and religion. Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and Muslims are the major religious people who follow their respective religions. Since Nepal is the birth place of Lord Buddha, hence it can be said that this kingdom resembles the symbol of Nepal. Not going much further, only a short drive can sail the entire people across the nature and natural beauty providing them the immense of joy within the heart. Thank you everybody for listening to my speech about Nepal. Have a nice day.
